Designed to help relieve the pain of severe tension in the muscle or the connective tissue that surrounds the muscles, the deep tissue is another popular form. Deep Tissue centers on the muscles deeper within the client, hence the name. Deep tissue massage is typically recommended for clients who experience consistent chronic pain as it focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles. Sometimes deep tissue is used for patients undergoing physical therapy.
